The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in a California Car Crash

Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the globally famous video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.

The tragic news was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.

The celebrated video game developer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a highway in Los Angeles on Sunday, US media outlets report.

"We are facing an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his work," a representative from Electronic Arts stated.
