Los Angeles witnessed widespread celebrations after the Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-game World Series title. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Local celebrations featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings across the city.
Online footage depict countless of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.
