Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually happening.
