Cars in Germany's Town Found Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Law Enforcement
Officers stated they were notified by a man who discovered a automobile in Hanau marked with reddish fluid

Around fifty vehicles have been smeared with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the Germany's city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, police confirm authorities.

Vehicles, building surfaces and postal boxes were marked, in some cases with swastikas, they reported in a release.

Law enforcement say they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday, when a resident discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored fluid.

The liquid had been placed in the pattern of a Nazi symbol, they stated.

Police then discovered numerous other vandalized automobiles and residential walls in the surrounding area.

Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany under laws outlawing the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials state initial examinations show the fluid was probably human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no indication as to its source; authorities are not yet aware of any physical harm in connection with the event," they added.

City officials stated they were trying "to unravel the incident" and have requested to the residents for information.

An important political figure commented the incident rendered him speechless and required to be resolved quickly.

"This event affects the core of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the right-wing terrorist attack five years ago," he posted on social media, recalling the murder of nine victims by a gunman aiming at residents of migrant background in five years prior.
